Dear Followers:

This is me officially announcing that I am starting work on a novel.

It’s currently in the planning stage (though I already have a rough outline in my head, since this character and his story have been developing since I was in middle school), but I hope to start my initial draft soon and finish it by the end of November (yay Nanowrimo!).

I’m mostly saying this in the hopes that people will occasionally drop by my ask and inquire as to how the novel is going, so that if I lose ambition, I will immediately be overcome with guilt and self-loathing and go work on it again.

Also, for anyone else who likes to write but can’t quite find that kick in the pants to do it, I recommend checking out this blog post by the amazing Ali Hale, and hey, might as well check out the rest of her blog while you’re at it because it is made of awesome.
